Terms of Service
The basic rules for using Grace.

1. About Grace
Grace is software owned and operated by QuaalCo for expense tracking, approvals, budgets, and reimbursement records for small organizations.
2. Acceptance
By creating an account, joining an organization, or using Grace, you agree to these Terms. If you use Grace for an organization, you represent that you have authority to do so.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity conducted through it. You must provide reasonably accurate information and must not impersonate another person or use an account without authorization.
4. Organizations and roles
Grace supports multiple organizations and roles. Administrators control organization membership, funds, budgets, and settings. Submitted expenses become organizational records. Removing a member does not automatically remove historical organizational records.
5. Expense records
Grace is a record-keeping and status-management tool. It does not move money, hold funds, provide banking services, or make reimbursement payments. Actual reimbursement occurs outside Grace.
You are responsible for accurate expense information and for complying with your organization's accounting, tax, and record-keeping requirements.
6. Beta software
Beta software may contain bugs, incomplete features, changes, or temporary interruptions. Features may change before public release. The current beta has no Premium purchases.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Grace to violate law, gain unauthorized access, interfere with the service, upload malicious code, or misuse another person's information.
8. Your content
You retain rights in information and photographs you submit. You grant QuaalCo the limited rights necessary to store, process, transmit, display, back up, and otherwise handle that content to provide the service, subject to the Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual property
Grace, its software, branding, designs, documentation, and related materials are owned by or licensed to QuaalCo. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.
10. Availability and changes
Grace is an evolving beta service. QuaalCo may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or the service.
11. Termination
You may stop using Grace at any time. QuaalCo or an organization administrator may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, enforce these Terms, address misuse, or manage membership. Data retention is described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimers
Grace is not accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. It helps organizations maintain records and workflows; it does not determine whether an expense is deductible, compliant, or appropriate for a particular organization.
To the extent permitted by law, Grace is provided without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every particular purpose.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, QuaalCo will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of Grace. Nothing excludes or limits liability where prohibited by law.
14. Privacy
Your use of Grace is also governed by the Privacy Policy.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
